Corani works from the conviction that good technical decisions depend as much on organisational and cultural choices as on the technology itself. Our engagements therefore tend to sit at the intersection of those worlds: how a product organisation shapes itself, how responsibilities are split between engineering, product and commercial functions, and how a team grows without losing the quality of its work.
Concretely that means: thinking along on architecture and technical choices, helping set up or recalibrate product development processes, supporting organisational design (roles, rhythms, accountabilities), and providing operational backing to leadership teams that need extra capacity in specific domains for a period of time.
How it works
Our engagements are typically long-running and run on contract. A typical collaboration starts with an exploratory period in which we agree on scope, rhythm and deliverables, and evolves into an ongoing role with Corani present on a regular basis in the relevant steering or leadership forums of the client.
Invoicing is handled by Corani bv, on the basis of an agreed daily or monthly rate, with clear conditions around termination and renewal. Travel and out-of-pocket expenses are billed separately.
A current engagement
Corani currently provides management services to Sparkle (sparkle.consulting), among others. The collaboration with Sparkle fits the profile described above: a long-running engagement with regular presence in the leadership team.
